The Short:
Any stage of completion.
High or low poly
Textured
Rigged
Prices would be based on character complexity and some other factors to be clarified later, if this goes forward.
Leave a comment or send me a Note if interested.
The Long:
There are a ton of game developers and people with original characters on this site, so I'm checking to see if there is interest in having me make some of those characters in 3D.
If you want something usable for games, or just a nice high resolution and posed beauty render, we can work out a deal.
I would be willing to take a model to any stage.
I've been full-time freelancing for the past few months, and I'm going to be wrapping up a few projects in the coming month. I'm looking for some more projects to keep me going after that.
Prices are highly variable since the efforts required for 3D work are highly variable. It will all be determined on a character-by-character basis.
I'm probing to see if there is any interest in this service here before officially starting anything. So, if you or anybody you know would like some work done, leave a comment or send me a Note.

Back to Freelancing and More Personal Art!
Hello! As some of you know, for the last 6 years, I've been working at Fantasy Flight Games as a sculptor for minis and a developer on their mobile apps. It's been a great experience, but I was being spread too thin and didn't have much opportunity to focus the last couple years. At the end of 2019, I decided to re-enter the world of freelancing and laser focus my career on character art. So, I am going to be more active across all the social media platforms again to post more personal art and work availability. DA has changed a lot, and while I will continue to post final art here, you can keep more up-to-date on WIPs and announcements on Twitter. https://twitter.com/GaryStorkamp Thank you!

Fantasy Flight Games and BattleLore: Command
Hey, everybody. I've been a little quiet around here lately. Since February, I've been working at Fantasy Flight Games and keeping pretty dang busy there. I hopped in to the middle of production of BattleLore: Command. Yesterday, that game was released for mobile platforms, and I'm pretty excited to talk about it.
It's a turn-based strategy game set in Terrinoth (which is the setting for a number of FFG's board games). I worked on all the environments. There's like 20-some levels here across a full campaign and 5 multiplayer skirmish maps.

WIP or no WIP?
(WIP) work-in-progress
Just curious what you all think about the posting of pieces that are in progress in my gallery.
I've done this plenty in the past, but have slowly drifted away from that in an effort to largely post only the finished product.
However, for personal projects, I'm quite spontaneous, and certain pieces can stay in WIP status for years. Which is why my updates have been so sparse lately.
What's your opinion on this? Do you like seeing unfinished pieces in hopes that they will eventually be finished or do you prefer just hanging back and seeing the pieces presented in their finished state?
