The moment that King Bowser's corpse was brought to the castle, Lemmy Koopa locked himself in his room before he had a chance to see the body. Lemmy could not beleive that Dad was dead, it just wasn't possible. Dad was strong and brave, nothing could harm him. Yet everyone, even his brothers and sister, kept telling Lemmy that he was gone.
"That's not possible." Lemmy mumbled to himself as he balanced on his favorite ball, the first ball Dad gave him, the same ball he learned to balance on before he could walk. Lemmy remembered the day he showed Dad this, he rolled right into the throne room were Dad was sitting. At first Dad could only stare with his mouth hanging open, then after a moment a smile grew on his face, his eyes began to sparkle, and a laugh that filled the great hall escaped from his jaws. Dad then jumped from the throne, picked Larry up with both hands, and tossed him into the air, before catching him in a hug.
As Lemmy thought back to this day, a tear fell onto his ball. Lemmy saw this and felt a surge of anger at how his own mind was trying to force him to accept what happen.
"DAD IS NOT DEAD!!!!" Lemmy screamed at himself, nearly loosing his balance. Lemmy took a deep breath and mumbled once more, "Dad is not dead." Then he forced a smile onto his face and went back to practicing on his ball. After all he wanted to show Dad all his knew tricks when he returned.
Oh that's so sad!!! But it's very good too. I love all the stories you write to go with. For some reason...I'm starting to like the koopalings cause of these but in my fan fiction I'm trying to hate them...so hard...
Don't try and hate them, instead try and understand what could make them act the way they do. You can make them "evil" but give them reason for it and show that they have some good qualities, like Bowser can be this bandit king, always attacking and raiding the Mushroom Kingdom but he does it because the Koopa culture is one of warriors and the only way he can keep his kingdom from plunging back into civil war is by showing that he strong enough not only to stop them from rebelling but also to make them rich. Or what ever, it's your fanfic. Now I'm going to read it.
Come to think of it, I'm starting to think that Mario is a villain. What was all about, anyway? A princess being captured? The princess isn't even dead anyway. Even if she is, the mushroom kingdom would treat the death as a leader dieing. But for bowser, not only a leader is lost, but a father as well. His kids probably wanted Bowser and Mario to stop fighting because their conflict won't get them anywhere.
